HIMSS EMRAM (Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model) is a maturity framework for hospital digitisation. Trusts at Stage 6–7 have moved to single integrated EPR platforms (such as Epic or Oracle Health), while many NHS trusts remain at Stage 3–5 with multiple best-of-breed systems requiring integration.
